Edge Pad Qualification

In an agreement with the manufacturer, Edge Pads will be the first pad system to be put through our rigorous pad testing with the Ultimate Detailing Machine.

Once passed, we will certify the compatibility of the adapter and pads with the Ultimate Detailing Machine:

1. Proper fit
2. Proper balance
3. Safety (personal safety)
4. Durability under full load operation

Re: Edge Pad Qualification

I would think that would be a benefit for Edge as well. Getting their name compatible with a hot new detailing machine can't do them any harm.

Re: Edge Pad Qualification

I have the pads and adapter in the garage now. What I'm putting them through would make waterboarding feel like a walk in the park.

Don't rush to eBay it so soon. My trade-in program will be pretty generous.

Re: Edge Pad Qualification

That's definitely good news since the Edge 2K system is what I have.

I wonder if anyone has asked this yet...the was originally a wood sander, will the UDM be suitable for this use as well?
