SFX Polishes on Non Clearcoated Paint

I have SFX3 and SFX2 polishes. I've used SFX3 on my Lincoln and it came out great!

My other vehicle is a black Ford without a clearcoat. How will SFX polishes perform on paint without a clearcoat? Any tips?

Re: SFX Polishes on Non Clearcoated Paint

Black is normally a soft paint, so the SFX-2 and 3 should do very well. Always try the least agressive polish first. If it doesn't remove the defects, then use the more agressive polish. If you're polishing by machine, I like using the SFX-3 pad on single stage paints. It really seems to bring up the gloss.
