They are both fine polishes, with Sonus Paintwork Cleanser (SPC) being the finest. Sonus SFX-3 does not have chemical cleaners, whereas SPC does. The chemical cleaners in SPC will remove light oxidation and the grime that gets deep into the pores of your paint that clay cannot reach. For hand application, SPC is a better final polish than SFX-3.
Of the two, I like SPC the best because it is easier to apply and the final finish is squeaky clean.

The Paint is in very good condition. I just bought a PC 7336. I've read the many articles about it's use..thanks to autopia. What do you think of this game plan?
1. Clay Bar
2. SPC
3. PS21
I assume the SPC can be applied with the PC. I plan to purchase the DAS (SP?) pad and backing plate along with the polish and wax today. Any advice would be appreciated! Scott

I like using the SFX-3 pad with SPC. It creates a much nicer final gloss. Run your PC at about 4.5 and load the pad with enough force to compress 50%.
You can also use the SFX-3 pad to apply your P21S wax... A good slap into your hand will get the wax out. Rub it on the pad and start waxing. You'll be amazed at how fast it goes on, and you'll use less wax. I keep my "P21S only" pad in a baggie and never wash it.

Microfiber and SPC are a very gentle combo. So if you need cleaning, but no polishing, that's the way to go.

db | David,
If using the Klasse system, would using SPC along with KAIO being overkill? If so, I assume drop SPC rather than KAIO? Or would the one two punch of both products be the perfect way to prep paint for KSG?

Since KAIO has plaint cleanser in it I was wondering if using both would be redundant or a good combo to prep for KSG.

I have found (believe it or not) sonus paintwork cleanser to exhibit just a hint of polishing power in my usage with it. I think it is one of the best specific paint cleaners I've come across so far.

Wonder if Davidb has tried that in his experimentations?
