I know I should have. But like I said, I quoted over the phone, which I've learned to never do again.

But hey, 15 bucks a hour for a 16 year old isn't bad. Plus, I had more fun while I was doing it, so while not? But don't get me wrong, I'd charge at least 200 next time around.

right on man, I'm 17 and when i detail i AT LEAST average 25 bucks an hour. Usually around 30-35. Thats great for high school students our age. ANd not only is it a great source of income for the amount of hours we have to work to earn the same as someone our age flipping burgers for 7 bucks an hour, we actually love doing our job. I think having fun while getting paid for it is the best reward if you're actually passsionate and enthusiastic about detailing

To be honest, I really don't loook at the money as anything. I'm currently building clientel, to open up a large automotive detailer facility downtown. I'm going to use that to help pay for my medical school career. I don't want to have to rely on my parents for help.

Thats a great job there Steve, you obviously work hard at paying great attention to detail, and it shows. You made a vast difference to the condition of the car, I bet the owner was amazed at the difference.

Damn, that's a nice restoration especially for the cost. I'd definitely pay $150 CAD to see that kind of improvment. Thumbs up.
