So whats the general consensus on this? I'm begnning to think I need something a bit stronger than my PC. The Udm seems

Moving from a PC to a UDM isn't much of a Jump. Either look into a Flex 3401, or a rotary.

Mine died today, during a customer's detail. I felt really bad and embarrassed, but things happen. Just sent Lynn an email, today.

My second one died today .. it was a replacement for the one I was having issues with .. now that I check the paperwork closer on the replacement its a refurbished one .. I got about 8 details out of it then it wouldn't hold speed set on 3 or lower and shortly after would not turn on unless I slapped it or I wiggled the cord etc. .. Fortunatly I had a PC backup and it was my daughters truck I was doing ..

E-Mail into Lynn as we speak ..

Thier customer service on the first replacement was great.

Just an update .. these people are awesome .. Question asked Sunday and resolved Sunday... ya can't beat that. Kudos
