Getting ready to detail!!!! David B ???

David - I need your expert advice on my detailing plans. Just got this 04 4Runner with minor swirls and am getting an order ready so I can make this baby shine.

I need some comments and recommendations.

To Buy:
1. Klasse AIO and SG. Do I need to get a wax as well for the last coat? Maybe P21S after the SG? I want to achieve the best shine possible.
I should also mention that I will probably apply the Klasse by hand or with my orbital buffer that i got years ago from Home Cheapo. Should I just go for a PC?

2. MF Towels - What are the best wax/polish/glaze removing towels? Best drying towels? I am thinking the waffle weave by Sonus might be my choice for drying. Or Big Blue III?

3. Sonus Leather cleaner and conditioner.

4. Sonus Total Eclipse for vinyl dash.

I already have the Meg's clay bar and spray to clean before waxing, good car soap, wheel cleaner and tire shine.

What do you think? Is there anything else I need?

Thanks!

Re: Getting ready to detail!!!! David B ???

Sorry, not sure how I missed this but I did. Hope this answeres all of your questions...

1. This is a good combo but you might need the Sonus SFX-2 Enhance Swirl Remover with to get rid of the swirl prior to the Klasse AIO. The P21S is an excellent choice as a topper. As far as the polisher, I would recommend the Ultimate Detailing Machine DAS Polisher Kit over the one you have. I think you will find the UDM will offer the results you are looking for.

2. I would recommend the Der Wunder Towel Trio for your drying, polishing and buffing towels.

3. and 4. The Sonus Perfect Leather Interior Kit would be a good choice for you as you get the Sonus Leather Cleaner, Sonus Leather Conditioner, Sonus Total Eclipse that you mentioned plus you also get the Sonus Cockpit Detailer, Sonus Ultimate Detailing Towels and the Sonus SFX Pro Applicator.

Just let me know if you need further help.

Lynn
