How does the UDM differ from a PC 7424 ?

The UDM keeps spinning long after pressures that would stop a PC from spinning. It definitely has more correction power.

From what I understand UDM is more powerful than the PC. Thats the only difference I can see. I've never used a PC though and just bought the UDM. I love it!

The UDM does have a more powerful motor. Both units have a one-year warranty but the UDM is a replacement warranty and you don't have to pay for shipping or wait for the machine to be fixed like you would with the PC should you have a problem.

I also have a quick question here, i have the 7424 and need to upgrade. Now will the UDm remove swirls that 7424 and what else besides the power is the difference..

Yes, they both remove the same type of defects, the UDM just has a little more power behind it. Other than what was already mentioned, that is about it for the difference.

Rotary is the most powerful for correction. If it can't be corrected by rotary alone, try wetsanding first and then the rotary. If that doesn't do it, time for a repaint.

UDM probably a 6 or 7 and the PC 5 or 6
