Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 41 | question about detailing sprays I was wondering about the differences between Acrylic Glanz, Acrylic Spritz, and Carnauba Spritz. I am going to apply both Klasse and P21S. Are they all necessary? What are the differences in them? Thanks

Sonus Acrylic Glanz Spray Sealant will also safely remove light dust, but it is specifically designed to add extra protection and make your paint "pop" for special occasions. This product was also formulated to work with Klasse, CarLack and other German acrylic sealants. Sonus Carnauba Spritz would be similar to the Sonus Acrylic Spritz but was formulated with carnauba instead of acrylic to work with concours quality pure waxes like P21S, Zymol, Pinnacle and other premium hard waxes (e.g., BLITZ, Collinite). Sonus Carnauba Spritz is a great quick detailer that enhances gloss while removing light dust, finger prints and water spots.

I would suggest saving your money and doing just that. I believe the ratio is anywhere for 7 to 10 parts water to 1 part KSG. Others will chime in if i have not remembered the ratios correctly. I have actually done this and it works well. I have also bought acrylic spritz which is a good product but hard to justify the cost when the "home brew" version works very well. Anyway that's my .02 cents.

If you don't want to use our products, please don't. However, I find this to be very offensive. We allow you to post anything you want about product in the open areas... please do that, but be courteous enough to keep it out of my business area.

Please accept my apologies. I had forgotten that was your product and until just now realized it was on the Sonus area. That said it is my responsibility to know that before I post. It is my mistake. I did however say I used it and it was a good product. You fund the forum and have a right to run it as you like, I do however feel your response to be a bit harsh. You can rest assured I will make no further "unprofessional" posts or posts of any kind on this forum.
Best Wishes,

Lynn | I still don't understand the actual differences in them. The Acrylic Spritz maintains the Klasse, the Acrylic Glanz also seems to do exactly the same thing, but the Carnauba Spritz maintains tha P21S. I'm so confused!! Are they all necessary? I'm using Klasse and P21S. I remember reading in the Klasse user guide that you are supposed to put the Klasse on very lightly. And one of them is supposed to help with that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks | The Acrylic Glanz has more acrylic than the Spritz products so you would use the Glanz to refresh the Klasse and the spritz a a light refresher but it is more of a quick detailer product. The Acrylic Glanz and Spritz it to refresh the Klasse Acrylic look and the Carnauba Spritz is to refresh your Carnauba look. You don't need them all, it is a matter of preference. If you are using the P21S I would recommend the Carnauba Spritz.

The spritz and then glanz combo has produced an excellent after polish shine for me.
Carnauba spritz IMO would look best on a just waxed surface. The spritz and glanz I've used right after the polishing phase of the detail, while I typically waited about a week after the first application of the wax before applying the carnauba spritz (like a qd) or any of your choice of a possilbe qd. All of Sonus' prep spray products get high marks IMO. Good luck.
