Makita 9227 Circular Polisher with 3M White Waffle / Ripple Pad and 3M Grey Waffle / Ripple pad both with Velcro backing.
But use a Flat Yellow Compounding pad when removing badly Oxidised and scratch surfaces before proceeding to 3M White Waffle Pad for polishing and finishing off with a Glaze or Sealant with the 3M Grey Waffle pad. Absolutely Swirl free!!!!
3M's a bit expensive but hey it comes in a pair (2) in a sealed bag.

just picked up a metabo rotary over the weekend with a metabo backing plate..
not cheap!

the metabo backing plate grips pads like nothing else!
its a b!tch to get the pads off it
