Re: Smoking, how did you quit ?

I smoked 2 to 3 packs a day for 28 years. All I did was just quit. My wife said that I was a bear for 3 weeks. It took 3 years before I lost all taste for a cigarette. Now I cant stand the smell. A fortune teller told me Id never be able to quit smokeing, I showed her. I havent smoked for 21 years.

Re: Smoking, how did you quit ?

I smoked for 4 years, then switched to the nicotine lozenge. I've been on those for the past 2. Clean and mint flavored. At least now I can "smoke" in school.

I've decided that I will try to quit in may when I'm done with grad school. I've tried a few times before, but I get so moody I would rather wait for a calmer time.

Anyone else have that? 5 or so hours without, and the smallest things set me off. Longest I've been was 3 days, in that time I had everybody around me hating my guts. Makes me wonder how long I would have to endure it before it lets off.
