I feel suprisingly good right now. Mostly been sleeping since the surgery and they gave me some good pain meds. Right now, it feels like I did 1000 crunches and the weird thing is the actual surgery site really doesn't hurt at all, mostly on both sides. It wasn't laproscopic, so the surgeon didn't go in through the sides but right through the small plum size belly button I had.
The nurse who administered my IV....

BARELY felt the needle go in and the area it was in doesn't hurt at all. She gave me a shot in the rear end too (painkillers) and that was a piece of cake too.
A few minutes before they wheeled me to the operation room, she injected some orange looking stuff into my IV. I gots to get me some of that stuff! No ****, within 30-45 seconds it hit and made me pretty loopy. I barely remember the anesthesiologist putting a mask thing over my face and I was OUT. Didn't even have time to get nervous.
They woke me up around 9:30 (7:30 surgery) and I was in some pain. Both my Dad and brother were already in the room and I was using a few words to describe the pain that I normally would not use around my Dad. Anyway, the nurse first gave me a pill but 30 minutes later, it still felt like Mike Tyson beat the **** out of my midsection. That is when they gave me the shot in my ***-not my butt cheeks but a bit higher. Within 15 minutes, major release. By 11:30, I felt good enough to pee and then they let me dress and go home.
