What is weird is with all the nervousness I had leading up to the surgery, once I got to the hospital, I was fine. Just had a good feeling about it. |

Feeling pretty good, still a little tired though. The pain is definitely decreasing too. Hopefully I can switch from the prescribed Hydroco to Tylenol tomorrow. |

Finally pooped last night. 
Pain meds tend to have a constipating effect and I was feeling a bit bloated (last thing you want after any abdominal surgery!) so I took some Milk of Magnesia. By 3:30 AM, I was awaken by my abdominal area gurgling and was able to take care of business. Felt so good this morning, I swtiched from Hydroco to Tylenol.  |

Glad to hear you made it w/o any problems.
Within 5 or so minutes of barely "coming out it" on my first (but minor) surgery earlier this year I was asking for the car keys. They didn't approve.

I figured taking one would hurt quite a bit after abdominal surgery. |
