Scott- wishing you the best on the road to recovery!! In regards to surgery being a bit worrisome, when I had my knee scoped back in august I rolled into the OR and the orthopod was blaring counting crows- then the anesthesiologist was putting me under and told me to think of something nice to dream about it- right before I went under he said "what's her name?"
