Re: Having my first surgery in 6-8 weeks

You'll be fine Scott, no worries. My neighbor, who was my orthodontist had the same operation you're talking about and he just had to take it easy for a couple of weeks.

Re: Having my first surgery in 6-8 weeks

Good luck Scott. About 10 years ago, I had a laparoscopic surgery to repair a 3-inch inquinal hernia, which I had endured for more than 30 years. I walked out of the hospital the next day and was back to work in about 2 days. I don't know why I waited so long. I've been lifting weights, running, cycling and swimming ever since, all the things that I've ever wanted to do. But somehow, I still can't do crunches and situps without "feeling it". You'll be up and about in no time!!

Got to be at the hospital in 8 hours and I can't get to sleep. Oh well, at least with the lack of sleep, hopefully I will sleep most of tomorrow.
