Re: Vitamin Poll
I take Life Extension two-per-day multis just in case I miss something in my regular diet. And I'll take lots of "C" if I think it's warranted (like when my wife has a cold)..which might just be a waste of money
But I do take other supplements, from CoQ10 (ubiquinol version) and fishoil (sorta mega-dose that stuff) to green tea and glucosamine/chondroitin. And creatine might count here, as it's been shown to have benefits beyond exercise/etc.
I do think that the idea that little doses of [whatever] can work miracles is awfully far-fetched and that too many people rely on taking vitamins/etc. instead of doing something more effective but not so easy (like lifestyle changes).

Re: Vitamin Poll
i take a GNC multi-vitamin everday and wouldn't be without it (my dad introduced me to it years ago and kept insisting i take them). in fact, i just bought a 180 caplets supply the other day. not cheap though, it was $30+ dollars...

Re: Vitamin Poll
Could be psychosomatic, but I seem to feel better when I take my multi. I take two "Ultimate Male" pills (Vitamin Shoppe brand) daily.

Re: Vitamin Poll
I have done some research into vitamins, right now i am on a multi vitiam, mineral, and phytontriant, i look for all natural, unsynthesised, organic materials. I dont want anything produced in a lab. Mother nature is the best producer of what we need so we might as well use what she has given us

Re: Vitamin Poll
I take Centrum. A perfect multivitamin. Nothing with too much amount of something. Perfect amount of each vitamin/mineral.
I also take Creatine, 100 whey protein and Glutamine since I work out everyday.

It is but what matters is what your mind believes.

FYI, EVERY vitamin brand regardless of the label uses USP (synthetic) vitamins as base.
There is nothing "natural" about them unfortunately.
Eat organic whole foods - that is where nutrients come from.
PS: I was in the health food industry for 22 years.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. (anyone)

Re: Vitamin Poll
I take Source of Life liquid vitamin. The liquid absorbs almost completely in to your body. Less waste than pills.
