How come you can post this but when I made a thread exactly like this it got deleted and I got warned in a PM about advertising?

Absolutely not fair

I don't know, but mine was EXACTLY like this, only difference is I did not put prices, oh yea and I offered a few more services; but basically, the same thing, just saying I am a detailer in middlesex and looking for some autopian customers.

They told me I can reply to requests, but not make threads about my detailing business.

Since they did delete it, I do understand why they have to, if they did not imagine how spammy these regional boards would be.

oh yea, it would get out of control. However, I dont see an overabundance of replies to requests in here. I guess you have, what, somerset county? I'm in union, vic seems to be in monmouth, i think xfire is in essex maybe? hmmm not sure who else, but we seem pretty spread out in this section as far as counties are concerned.

I guess it depends on what you consider a showroom job, for me that would be a wash, clay, aggressive polish, fine polish, ultrafine polish (p106ff on LC blue), a good glaze, and top it off with souveran, victoria wax, zymol concours, etc...

Oh yeah, and the wheel wells would have to be spotless, wheels cleaned front AND back, tires PERFECT, meaning white glove clean tires, wheels sealed or waxed, all trim dressed with low gloss dressing, all rubber seals clenaed and dressed, all metal polished, glass perfect and sealed with an AIO, I could go on...

But I dont see how anyone can offer, at least what I consider to be showroom perfect at under $200...

Well, I suppose you could use fillers..... But I don't.

For me, average detail that I consider close to perfect is 8.5 hours for about $250 (negotiable), to get it to a level where I can say perfect, 2 days, and a lot of cash.

And thats 8.5 hours working with a rotary! Imagine how long it would take with a pc.

Re: Mobile Detailing; Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex counties.

Is it really necessary to put down this guys work? That is what you are doing by saying that nobody could do a showroom detail for that price. Maybe he does not need the money and just loves the work? We dont know.

Re: Mobile Detailing; Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex counties.

Ron,
Please erase your second post . thanks. Reason being my prices are low is because I'm just starting out and reaching out to new clientele. I have only done close friends and family members in the past. A showroom detail takes me 4 hrs which includes wash, clay, polish, sealant, wax for exterior. Vaccum , shampoo tuff stains, dress interior for the INTERIOR.
