Central MA Detailer for club event

I am the membership director for the Cougar Club of New England and I'm interested in organzing a "spring cleaning" for our club. Essentially, it would be a get-together for the members in which the days theme would be show detailing with how-to advice and tutorials for whatever we can support doing based on the meeting venue.

Is there anyone in the area who would be willing to be our pro for the day, as long as the specific day fits your schedule? It will probably be a Sunday in late April or early May.

im not a member but can i come to learn the ways of the detailing from the masters?
Im a newbi at detailing but would love to observe whatever is presented.

A member from this site suggested contacting Mequiars (thanks!) and so that is the direction we're taking with this. We've tentatively set the date for May 6, 2007 in Hartford. We need to sign up 30 attendees, so we're accepting sign-ups from people outside the participating clubs.

Preference will be given to members of the Cougar Club of New England, the Connecticut Cougar Club, and the Mustang Car Club of New England so non-member sign-ups will be wait-listed until we see how many club members elect to participate. I'll figure out a cut-off date for the members to sign up so we can give non-members a reasonable planning horizon.

Anyone from this forum who is interested in attending should PM me with your name and contact info, including e-mail address. I will keep you informed as planning progresses.

The class is free, by the way, but Meguiars has requested that the clubs provide lunch on-site so there may be a fee for that depending on final cost.

Bill....I know you have setup your date and place...but incase it is not written in stone as of yet..There is a place in Holyoke Mass...called C.A.R products..they give rotary classes and detailing classes..and also sell products and are a Meg"s dealer....
