Audio/Stereo Installer in CT (New Haven Area)
Hey guys. I am going to pickup a DNX8120 when they are available from Kenwood, and since the price of the head is up there, I figure why not spend a little more and have it put in by a shop that really knows what they are doing. I feel comfortable installing it myself, however I guess the laziness factor sets in, and on top of I am not an audiophile...
Any reccomendations on a shop in the Madison, CT (New Haven) area I would appreciate it.
Thanks!
-Eric

How far is the ferry from your house to eastern LI?
I know a couple of places that can do it and pricing is reasonable.

Yeah driving and ferry takes about the same time in length. Good luck with your search.

Re: Audio/Stereo Installer in CT (New Haven Area)
Just a suggestion but try calling an exotic car dealer thats local and ask who they use. Most shops won't do the work themselves and sub it out to someone local.
I know a good company in Greenwich CT.

'There are two places just north of Hartford and they are the ONLY place I\'ve brought and/or recommended to anyone. The two owners actually used to share a shop years ago, but have split and now are eachother\'s competition. They\'ve been in the audio scene a LONG time and both hold SPL competitions and car shows every year.\r\n\r\nRob @ Extreme Audio in Manchester Extreme Audio & Performance\r\nDave (I think, it\'s been a while) @ Pirate Radio in Vernon'

Re: Audio/Stereo Installer in CT (New Haven Area)
I called around, and the BMW, Benz, and Audi Dealers all say they have their own "in house" shop...
I may check out SoundWaves in Clinton, CT simply because it is close by.

why what did you not like about sounds incredible in danbury??? Did you have a bad install or know of someone? Please help because I was thinking about having them do somewhat of a serious install on my FJ.
