So that's the last I've heard.
I have to be in Danbury that morning and part afternoon, but will try like all hell to make it.
Now, if they only posted the actual site location again...

Our kitchen is in the deconstruction phase and I have a tile guy coming on Monday so I need to make sure all is ready. Let's also keep an eye on the weather b/c I saw showers in the morning that may carry over to the afternoon.
Jastek - do you have the addess? I'll be in a 2007 white tl and I'll have what ever supplies can fit.

We need another lcoation. | That's too bad. I knew that the liability would be an issue, that's why all of our Porsche Club events have liability waivers that all must read and sign before attending an event such as Tech Tactics at FarnbacherLoles facilities. Everyone must sign it at the greeting table before proceeding into the shop and wandering around cars on lifts, under lifts etc.
If Doug wants to host an event in the future, he needs to have a waiver drafted by his attorney so he is held harmless to any and all issues resulting from the event. Also, areas off limits clearly marked and roped off so no one enters areas that may house customer vehicles, equipment or other sensitive areas unless an escort is provided.
Sorry to hear that as of now, the event meeting is off or rescheduled for a new venue.
Keep us up to date on anything else or if another suitable location becomes avalible.
Regards,
Deanski

Deanski | Right, simple waiver would suffice. Garage Keepers Liability in NY actually covers you for this circumsatance. The waiver is just a document that says you wont go through litigation if you do get hurt. Sad thing is, you cant sign away your rights in the USA, like goign on a roller coaster and getting killed, ect. Your lawyer will tell the opposition that you are stupid and didnt know what you signed. Even with those waivers, you can still get sued if you meet the right dirt bag.

And there are many dirt bags that all they do is chase after the business who have waivers or limited liability waivers etc.

Lower FF county (Stamford, Greenwich) or upper Westchester County (WP, etc) seem to be a good meeting point. I've done some searching for rentable garage space but there isnt too much around. | |
