303 or XMT 180 wax as LSP on gellcoat

like the title says, which is gonna work best after compounding/cleaning to prevent future oxidation and further improve gloss?

Re: 303 or XMT 180 wax as LSP on gellcoat

I have only used XMT 180 on clear coat. Not used 303

i would say probably one of the marine waxes , maybe megs M50 or M56 would work better than the two you listed. But you never know

Re: 303 or XMT 180 wax as LSP on gellcoat

FWIW, I use waxes/sealants on the topside(above water) part of my jet skis, and have used 303 on the hull etc. Seems to work pretty well. The hull always seems to clean up real easy with just ONR.
