Boat guys, I need input!

Whats up guys, I have a client that wants me to do his boat tomorrow. I am probably going to do a single step polish on it but I don't have any marine polishes/compounds. Can I use 105, or SIP, ect that we use on cars? The thing is I don't want to use 105 or something I would use on a car and have the haze and crap come back a week later. Let me know guys, thanks. If I have to use marine style polishes let me know and I will try to pick some up tomorrow but thats a thing I would like to avoid if possible. The boat is white that is all I know cause I have no knowledge of boats.

If it's hazy / whiteish looking it will come back in a week if you are only doing a one step polish. Gel coat is a b*tch sometimes. You might have to wet sand to get it gone for good.

In my experiences, car products DO NOT work on the stupid gel coats boats have. They are a pain in the @$$, but there are several good products out there to remove oxidation from gel coats.

Thanks for the input guys.
I couldn't read this today cause I was out all day but I went ahead and did a single step on it with 105. I told him I have never messed with gel coat and I was afraid of it coming back(the oxidation) but he said to do it anyway. The 105 cleaned it up quite nice but it did not touch the swirls/scratches. I was using the Flex and it cleaned up nice. Anyway, thanks for the help

I forgot to mention that you should use a heavy cutting foam or wool and a high speed rotary as well.
