Megs Gold Class vs. Megs NXT Gen. Vehicle Wash Shampoo

Hey guys, im just in dire need of some more car wash shampoo and ive been wondering lately about Megs Gold Class vs. Megs NXT Gen. Car Wash Soap/Shampoo. Im wanting good lubricity, sudsing action, and whatever else a "premium" car wash shampoo should have.

Im still fairly new to all this actual in-depth research on products like lubricity etc. so Im asking you guys, who have dealt with these on a Professional basis for a number of years. I know you wont recc. a product if it will even consider hurting the vehicles surface.

From my understanding the NXT is stronger and can strip your LSP. I have used Gold Class for years and can't say anything bad about it but my favorite is Optimum car wash.

between the two, i would go with gold class...

you should look into CG's CW&G ($20 a gallon = very economical). around 1 - 1 1/2 ounces is all you need for a great wash. i'll be buying a gallon next when my current stock is just about used up...

Car Wash Shampoo is a gentle-cleansing liquid gel car wash Car Wash Shampoo

Personally i use Meg's Deep Crystal Wash. It leaves a nice shine ready for waxing

I find that GC and NXT wash both leave a lot of spotting or film. They both suds up great; I prefer the smell of NXT. You used to be able to get a gallon of GC at Target for $10...so that was kind of a big draw.

I have used the NXT, and really like it..

It suds up great; I smells good..

However, I will try the Gold next time, and see how that does!

Jim, does the smell bother you at all? I thought about picking some of this up, but found the smell pretty strong.

Re: Megs Gold Class vs. Megs NXT Gen. Vehicle Wash Shampoo

Given the option of the two and assuming that both products are available locally, I would buy whichever worked out to be the cheapest per use. For a car wash, they are a coin flip for me.

If you are looking to other options besides those two, I also like the DG car wash and it is available OTS in my area.
