Question Product preferences

I have been a big fan of the Marine Collinite line, but today I used 3M Marine line and I was very pleased. Any opinions on these products or other product suggestions?

Re: Product preferences

I've used the 3M line and the Mequires Marine Line. I tend to go back to the Meguires line more than I do the 3M line... Just my preference though.

Soon it'll make no difference.

Re: Product preferences

I so about a boat a week and I use Four Star Products. I think they work really well. No complaints here.

Re: Product preferences

I believe you guys are talking about gel coat boat but what I have used on my painted aluminum Lowe fish and ski is Meguires cleaner/wax, it works excellent imo and makes the boat shine better than new. What I also like about it is it doesn't show water spots very easily if at all?
I buy it at my local GM dealer here in Oshawa and use it on my truck and wife's car as well, just leave it on for a minimum of 5 minutes before removal and it comes off super easy and leaves a beautiful shine.
I use to work at a car detailing shop some years ago and this by far is the best wax I have ever used to date..............Irv

Re: Product preferences

I have used both the 3m and meguires boat wax and getting ready to purchase some collinite. I think the 3m and meguires lasts for about 3 weekends on the water then goes away. I am hoping the collinite performs just as good as on my cars.

Re: Product preferences

I think the Collinite Fleet paste wax lasts the longest in the sun and marine enviornment

Re: Product preferences

After polishing out with 3M marine products, I top with zaino z2pro.
