Stain Removing HELP

Hello see attached picture below.

My question is I have a 14 sea doo speedster and 2 of the leather seats seem to have what I think mold behind the leather or maybe in the leather??? I am not for sure but I need to get it it out and I cant figure out how. I have tried scrubbing with a brush and 409 and it just wont come out.

Any suggestions

Its the middle seat and the driver. Looks worse in person.

Probably not much you can do, short of having the coating sanded and re-dyed. Next time, I would stay away from the 409. You could have done more damage to it.

If it is mould (this is difficult to tell from the photo) then you will need to use a specific mould killer for leather (something like Em Clean) which will kill the mold spores. If you simply clean the leather you will only remove the residue from the surface. If you do not kill the spores then they will simply keep coming back. Scrubbing will not help and if it is mould it will be inside the leather so needs treating accordingly.

Em Clean was specifically formulated for this and will not damage the leather itself (tested).

If it is not mould then it would appear that the surface has been damaged and this would need recolouring.

The seats are vinyl and not leather. In the past i have used a patio furniture mildew remover, safe for vinyl. It worked to some degree, maybe removed 50-60%.

Maybe Amazing Roll Off might work, never used it.

I did a search and came up with these ideas. Personally it might be a last resort to use bleach. This first one is quoted from a marine web site. If you are thinking of getting them recovered, maybe try them and let us know if it works.

"I use common bleach straight from the bottle, buy some inexpensive white shop rags soak them with bleach and lay them on the seat for a few hours, don't spill it on carpet,, the bleach will kill and remove the stain won't hurt the vinyl. if there is any exposed stitching don't put the bleach on that,, use some spray wax on the stitching first to protect it from the bleach or just avoid the stitching area."

Em Clean will work on mould on vinyl, leather and fabric. Having looked at the photos again this does not look like mould but damage to the surface finish. If you want to send close up photos to me I can have a closer look at this.
