Body Shop in Chicagoland Area?

Can anyone give me a suggestion for a body shop in the Chicago burbs? I have some very minor work to be done on my silver VW Jetta. I am in the Joliet area!

a good friend of mine has a shop but in palatine.... they do perfect body work and painting though... along with car service/maintenance

what do you plan on doing ?

The only places that do super work that I know about are in LaGrange , about 15 miles from you, they are Custom Cars and Burlington auto. They are kinda expensive especially Custom Cars which is a high line resto shop.

Same question. Loaned my subaru to a friend for one day. He scraped a piller on the right side opened the door into a barrier chipping the paint on the border. No body damage, just paint work needed.

Anyone know a decent body shop/detailer on the north side or suburbs that won't charge and arm and a leg to fix this?

jim and matt at elite autobody in chicago !!!!

they are kind of pricey but their work is stellar,
i would trust any of my family / friends cars there,

sometimes it is a treat, they have a classic muscle car in there for resto work

Same question. I'm looking for a body shop to install a new bumper, bumper cover and all other parts to go along with a front bumper.

Only catch is I'm looking for an affordable place since I'm tight on money.

I made my own post and then just noticed this. I'm in the Oswego / Plainfield area and need two panels painted on a 2000 Honda S2000 with 6,200 miles. Any suggestions --- I am very, VERY particular.

my buddy had work done on his S2000 at Elite Auto Body in Chicago, and from his experience with them, I would recommend them.
