Any detailers in NE Ohio?
Any info would be greatly appreciated...it's very hard to sort out the junk from the good guys in the yellow pages.

Stealth Fries- Welcome to Autopia!
Yeah, it's hard to know who to trust.
"NE Ohio" is a pretty broad category (I say I'm from NE OH but I'm nowhere near Cleveland for instance).
Wish I could help but I don't know anybody...but there have been a few people posting from up north of me that oughta be sorta in your area. What is it you need done?

Thanks for the welcome.
Right on, I actually meant Cleveland--the Heights area, suburb SE of the city.
I was looking for a full detailer; someone to wash/clay/wax/etc. Three cars that get handwashed occasionally and touchless wash most of the time. Two of them (Audi allroad, Boxster S) have been detailed once by the Porsche/Audi dealer who did a terrible job.
Any info you could pass along would be greatly appreciated.

I"m in Erie, PA about 2 hours away from you. I'd love to help but I think you could find someone close than me. I know a guy in Jefferson that is a little closer but I think thats still an hour away from you. If you want to know more PM me.

I'm from outside of Youngstown, OH, so I'm still a bit out of your area, but I do know a guy or two up around there I could recommend.
Send me an email if interested, tonyturk@zoominternet.net

Hey there Stealth Fries...first time I've checked out this regional forum. I do not have a professional detail business, but am an enthusiast like most autopians, with an unnatural love for detailing cars I'm in Shaker Heights and work in Independence. Shoot me a pm if you like, and are still tracking this thread..

I'd like to know which dealer did the crappy job. If you don't feel comfortable posting it for all the world to see you can PM me.
Heh heh, I publicly slam my Audi dealer (Stoddard) over the way they're doing cars these days, but I figure it's only fair as I praised them to the heavens back when they did a good job; if they care they oughta make their guys do it right.

Accumulator, I think it was Fred Baker, but am not 100% sure. Funny coincidence, but I actually ended up living literally across the street from Stealth Fries...did his new A4 wagon (not the allroad) and the boxster. Very nice people, and I'm hoping they enjoyed my work.

You must not have read the entire thread. Read my post above, the cars are already done.. Hopefully the 2 layers of SG are still holding up well on them against the elements!

Lightman- Glad to hear the two of you got together and things went well!
Dealers....even Stoddard had slipped since their good detail guy finished school and went on to his real career.
