Cool! Keep us (me) informed. I'd love to check it out once you get set up. If you don't mind of course.

Hey, good luck with the new venture too! Not sure I have anything to offer, but let me know if you need anything.

wow this thread is still alive?

I guess I will give a little update then. Back when this thread was only a few pages old(2005) I was working at a car dealer in Kaukauna, I continued to work there for about 2 years, I was then offered a different job from a guy who was opening his own shop. We grew fairly fast as moved to a new location detailing everything from cars to boats to motor homes and motorcycles.

We did fairly well for about 6 months or so we even had a few dealer accounts, we were doing things to autopia standards also which was a lot better quality then most places here in the valley, we were using all meguiars products as well.

Unfortunatly all good things have to come to an end, we starting losing business, mainly because the owner was an idiot in my mind.

I went back to school full time, and really haven't detailed professionally since then, that was over a year ago. I still have all my tools and some supplies. I moved from Appleton to Little Chute, which is only about 10 minutes away.

I sold my cars that I was talking about in the beginning of this thread, I now drive a Jeep Liberty Renegade, it gets a regular washes for the most part when its not dirty from wheeling.

Well thats all for the trip down memory lane for me, I will try to keep in touch with this thread.

I got hired on to manage the detail shop at Clear Water. They really needed some help with the place and I plan on expanding and excelling. I, too, just moved to Little Chute so give me a shout of you want to hang out sometime. I really don't know anybody here yet.

Clear water? is that the place on College Ave?

Little Chute is a good place to live, I have lived here almost 2 years and can't complain. Where abouts in Little Chute do you live? I live about 2 blocks from the high school. If you ever see a light green Jeep Liberty Renegade with matching green wheels and some callaway golf stickers on the side that would be me.

Yeah, the place on College.
I really like it here so far. I live a block away from the land fill... but it's not that bad.
I have the slightly modded green VW Jetta with MN plates. Guarantee it's the only one in the state.
