I'll be living in an apartment soon too, but at least I'll have a garage. I stocked up on QEW so I don't need a hose to wash my car.

i currently have 2 honda civics and 1 acura integra, selling one of my civics and the integra and i am going to buy a grand cherokee, i work at a jeep dealer so they are fairly easy to find and we get a lot of them traded in. if u wanna see pics of my cars lemme know, nothing ro spectacular to look at, i have a garage for one of my civics but it still gets dirty fairly fast being a red car, therefore it really needs to be washed before i wanna try and polish it, lemme know if u are ever in town lemme know i always like seeing a nice detail, i do it for a living at work, but all the salesmen never respect a nice detail and would just rather have the car washed and a light buff, nothing autopian style but i still try to do a decent job on some of the nicer cars there.

What kind of products do they give you/you use on the vehicles?
It's great to have you on board!

Would you guys like to meet up in Appleton in the next few weeks? I'm moving on August 13th, but I'd like to have a small meet before then. I'll drive the new Protege.
If we met in Appleton we could find some go-karts or mini-golf. If we were just going to shoot the s**t and go out for lunch or something, Manitowoc would probably be the best, since it's cooler here than anywhere else in the Fox Cities.

van dyn hoven, i do used car details there for them at their used car lot in kaukauna, for rotary buffers we use makitas there, for polishing/waxing we use a variety of "PRO" brand http://www.professionalcarcare.com/
on the new cars i know that they use simoniz products and also the PRO products, everything we buy in bulk of course, we also have thermax brand extractors for interior work.
i do about 3 used car details a day at work and work usually a little over 8 hours a day.
any other questions feel free to ask

Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Stevens Point, WI Posts: 6,885 | So we'll start with your preference... Would you prefer a mini golf or go-kart meet in Appleton, or a traditional meet in Manitowoc along the lakeshore? I'm fine with either way. It is pretty nice here on those hot summer days.
I'm sure Joe (Rockstar_style) would be interested in a Manitowoc meet, but he may not be interested in a meet in Appleton. Pigeonbus lives just north of Manitowoc, so it would be a convenient place for several of us. My neighbor would also be interested in a meet in Manitowoc. He's a member here, but no posts. He's just really into clean cars, and I've helped him detail his car a few times now.
So that's 4 members that would probably attend a Manitowoc meet. It would probably just be me and Carl if the meet were farther away.
