Any good detailer in the area should be able to remove the defects without simply hiding them with temporary products. If the detailer can't explain the products they plan on using / don't tape off edges and sensitive areas (like trim), doesn't have the plans on doing a test section, and doesn't plan to use any type of post-polishing testing (such an an alcohol wipe-down or such) to test for true correction, those are things, IMO, you need to be worried about.
