I still have one or two modems. Of course they're not connected to anything! Cable internet for me. Yes abolish those titles, but maybe post a sticky on how to resize photos. Even with broadband really large photos eat up a lot of memory when you have a couple dozen pages open at once.

I still have a USB 56K modem from the days when DirecPC/DirecWay/Hughes.net required a modem to setup your satellite connection. Now that I am on DSL it is sitting in a drawer. These days my backup for any DSL outages is my Blackberry with the phone as modem option.

We have Verizon FiOS as our TV and Internet service. Verizon is also our cell phone and land line company too. So it is one monthly package deal for everything. Installation took 3 guys 8 hours in my home.
