I'm going to polish my whole hood. I'm then going to apply several coats of Klasse SG to one side and another wax to the other half. I'm not going to go buy any more wax so I'll leave it up to you guys to decide from my current supply.
Ok, Pick the Wax!

Besides, the carnauba will be on there for a few days then it is coming off and the whole hood will be klassed

So, I voted for GC since it did give a decent shine, even if it lasted only a week. I remember using more GC than #26 though, so I must not have been overly impressed with #26. I also used Medallion and I actually preferred it over all of them, but it became hard to find locally... I remember 26 and GC being much harder to buff than Medallion.

#2 - Eagle One carnauba. I haven't met too many people that have used this but I think it's great stuff.

As a matter of fact, I just started a little wax test of my own. I Blitzed half my hood, put Eagle One Pure Carnauba Wax on 1/3 of the hood, and MGC'd another part of it. We'll see!

I like both the leading products, but I voted for #26 because I found it to be more durable than the MGC. Still liked MGC - but for the protection, #26 way outlasted it, IMHO.

It goes on easy, buffs off nicely and has a really good swirl hiding ability. Much better than most I have tried. I was very impressed with the results and found it a good value for the money. It did a good job on my friends Jag XK8 that was really swirly!

You pretty much have to use no pressure to take it off.

Two questions... Does it stain rubber/plastic trim? And how is its durability?
Thanks! | |
