Local bars back up north have excellent wings.
In the Atlanta area, I prefer to go to Publix supermarket. They have excellent wings!
A resturant called Buffalos here in the Atl area could qualify for the worst wing known to mankind.

I think there's 3 or 4 of them on the way north side of the city. Ohhhh man are they good. I usually get the hot ones , but they have inferno ones that they dump a bunch of jalapenos on. Those are the real @ss burners. They also make a damn good gumbo and cajun catfish sandwich.

I agree with gmblack3 that Publix wings are excellent. I mean, for a supermarket chicken wing.

My vote goes to Anchor Bar, located on Main St. in Buffalo. Anchor Bar claims to be the inventor of this tasty concoction.

FWIW, come to Memphis, look up a place called "Kelvin's Hot Wings," bring your gat, and enjoy delicious wings.
Hooters are the worst, followed by BWW--both are garbage IMO.

Anyway, I'll chime in, 'cause i love me some wings. My favorite wings ever are at Fathead's Bar & Grill in Pittsburgh, PA. Honorable mention would go to Quaker Steak and Lube (the original location in Sharon, PA did seem a little better to me, but that's probably psychological).
I will say that since I moved away from the east coast, I've had a hard time even finding decent wings, much less good wings. Good wings really do seem to be centered around Buffalo (surprising, I know)... with western NY and wester PA having lots of good wings, and the farther away you go, the sketchier they get.
Of the one's on the list, I'd say Buffalo Wild Wings are the best, and Hooter's are miserable.
