Any day that ends in a Y is a good day to wash the car.

Provided it's not raining - in which case, I'm sure someone here has devised a setup to wash the car in the rain without getting the car wet afterwards

You know, it may sound crazy, it probably is, but I do actually like to wash my car when it's raining. If it's been raining for awhile all the dirt and debris is soft and loosened up. As long as I think I won't be driving it until the rain has stopped I'll get it all cleaned up, then when the rain stops I'll just dry it off and I'm good to go.

And I thought I was crazy, car was filthy backed it out into the pouring rain drove back into the garage soaped her up, backed in and out a few times. Brought it back in and dried it off. Looked real good then I wondered if the neighbours saw me doing this, they must thinks I'm nuts. But hey the car looked great. And the next day while everyone else was out washing theirs I went out for a ride.

Sunday for me, I have a garage queen that only gets out on weekends so its spends the whole week nice and clean in the garage.
