Which Is Worse.... Extreme Cold (Winter), or Pollen (Spring)!

Take your pick of these two evils.

Winter it's freezing cold (here atleast) and you have snow sometimes, or spring, where you wash your car, drive it for an hour, and it comes back yellow.

Which would you rather have? Also, bugs are out in spring whereas you don't have to worry about that in Winter since they are all rightfully dead!

We can never win.

I just want to live in an area where there is no pollen, no bugs, sunshine, 72 degrees and low humidity all the time. I don't think that is too much to ask.

And I don't ever want any brake dust, and no swirls.

- Anthony

You want extremes?! Come up to your friendly neighbour up north...good ol' Canada! Eh, This winter we got -40 degrees Celsius, wind chill was crazy, take your car out and you're bound to get your car plastered by salt! I'll take summer anytime and anyday, all we need is another blackout this year!

But, if you didn't have to detail your car, living in such a place, what would you do? Fishing?

You can always wipe off the pollen with a CCD, or QD the pollen off the finish. You can always wash your vehicle during pollen season...something you can't do when it cold enough to freeze a penguin's posterior!

It isn't even close. Cold sucks. Anything under 65 degrees flat sucks. If I can't wear shorts comfortably, it is too cold, and therefore, sucks.

Pollen means it is warm.

I just hate it when I have spent 5-6 hours on my car just to come out to see it covered with pollen the next morning. In the winter its okay if its a little dirty since I didn'tt bust my butt trying to get it clean.

tough 1, i mean winter sucks. but the last few summers, pollen has been getting really bad you literaly see it clumped up on the sides of streets<-------------we've been very dry the last few summers. the one thing i hate bout summer is the damn water restrictions. dont wash your cars but go ahead and water the park Thats the one thing i like about winter. No body harasses you if you are washing your car. They look at you like your a little crazy yes, telling you not to wash it no. So were a little crazy, throw me in the mental hospital, what can i use to detail the rubber walls ...hmmmmmm

I waxed with NXT yesterday and pollen is falling like rain it seems since we havent had any rain in GA during march, does the pollen make the wax seem smeared or something?

as a proffessional, i invite these nasty elements such as bugs ,pollen and the other crap that makes cars dirty. on the other hand i want my rig to stay bling-bling. this double edge sword can be frustrating and a blessing. i used to have a flyer that had the heading "we love- love bugs". actually, a friggin hate the damn things, but those little devils make me money. they also tear my own vehicles up, booooooooo! so i've found, in life, all crisis's can be considered an opertunity, depending on how you look at the situation. remember this, your attitude toward a situation will determin how you perceive it, how you perceive a sit. will determin how happy you are. stay positive, problem solving is all it's about. i may not be making much sence, but maybe you will get it. positive attitude+ action+ followthrough+dedication= success.
p.s. i need a dictionary
p.s.s i shouldn't have cheated in vocab and grammer during school

Cold is definitely worse. At least I can wash my car comfortably every day if necessary if there's pollen on the car. Having fingers so numb that they can't move anymore ISN'T fun! I'm so glad winter is almost over.
