Could you please enlightening me as to how you can get 2 coats of wax out of one ounce? I think that I must apply my wax on too thick then, cuz I'm constantly hitting the bottle for more.
How do you do it? Do you measure it out and go from there?
What's the trick?
I go through wax like it's cool. My applicator gets pretty full of wax.
(Maybe I'm just a wax junkie.)

I am serious . I use a cotton applicator and slightly moisten with Z6( some use water). I always treat the paint surface with a coat of Z6 prior to polishing. I never use more than a 3/8" circle of polish per panel except for the hood and trunk (Z28 convertible has a trunk) where I use a 3/8" circle per half surface. I never apply to a hot surface either or in direct sunlight. I normally apply in the garage. Some use a foam applicator, which I have in the past, and get even better results in terms of # of coats per oz. | |
