It worked out to $1.56 a tile including shipping but not tax.

Was there any trimming involved or did they square up perfectly with your garage floor?

I had to trim about 1" off 1 side. I cut them with a circular saw, but I think that you could cut them with just about any kind of saw.

good looking stuff
Looks pretty good. I looked at the website (Sams) and didn't see the red ones listed. Were they from Sams too, or elsewhere? Hope you will keep us posted on how they hold up.

What's the deal with them, are they supposed to be waterproof? What happens if you drive a wet car in there in the rain, or want to hose the floor down? Does it run under? What happens then? Up here you put the car in the garage in the snow, and the salty slush winds up on the floor and plays havoc with the concrete (at least I think that's the problem).

I had 323 sq. feet to cover, but had to buy 8 boxes of 45 tiles (360 sq. ft.) which was a little over $600 including tax and shipping. I see that the red ones are not listed now, but some of the colors that are listed now weren't available when I ordered mine. I guess it depends on what they have in stock at the time.

How's the seal between tiles?? I would love to have a decent floor in my small garage but I haven't done it in fear of oil spills, coolant, etc.

How is it for working under a car, using a floor jack, etc? I see I could do my garage for a bit over $1300 (960 sq ft, Im leaving the 11x20 shop area as bare concrete), which is good compared to many alternatives.
