Just Bought A New
Craftsman 6.0 ShopVac.
Sad that I can get so excited over such a small thing isn't it. I got tired of having to goto the local carwash joint to vaccume it out with their low powered overpriced filth machines. This thing has some pull let me tell ya. If you aren't careful it'll suck the seats out on ya.
Highly recommend it to everyone.

Got one myself, one of those low-profile ones. I like it much better than my old 4.0hp Shop-Vac one. I don't need the Gore filter for the Craftsman either.

Gore filters are basically the shop-vac equivilant of K&N air filters for cars. Here's their site: http://www.cleanstreamfilters.com/wetdry.htm Hope this helps.

Got me a Rigid wet/dry vac. This thing is so powerful I just put it thru the window, duct tape around the opening walk away for 5 min. and the whole inside is cleaned out seats & everything.

I like my big "sucker" but this one is my favorite. Smaller hoses make it easier to access areas and it has WAY more than enough power. The narrow width is a plus in tight spaces or between cars, too.

I just gotta ask....
...Brad B., you have a 3.0 and a 5.0? If the 3.0 if more than enough power, why the 5.0? Or is this one of those Tim the Toolman Taylor things?

I know what I want for Father's Day. I have right now the older Craftsman wet/dry vac. The red and black one. I really like the low profile of the one you have Brad. How much did you pay for it? Can you find it at Sears?
Thanks & Aloha,
~Ranney
