Garage entrance ramp

http://www.discountramps.com/EZ-edge...hold_ramps.htm

I just threw this link in to give you guys a better idea of what I mean.

But does anybody have a ramp for their garage entrance to make the transition from driveway to garage smoother?

Yeah, I had a guy working on some drainage pipes in my driveway, and had a sink spot in front of one of the garage doors, which I asked him to fill in. He took the liberty of making two nice asphalt ramps up to the 1" or so lip that the edge of the concrete floor makes. Then he had to come back the next day and cut out the asphalt so the doors would close (since they come down in FRONT of the concrete). Frigging idiot.

Oh, did I mention that he made the drain in my driveway the high point of the driveway? And would never answer his phone or come back and fix it? Before he started I explained to him where the water puddles up...now I have a drain sticking up in the middle of the puddle...but at least the water goes in the drain after the puddle is full

Little full of yourself...

I don't care about your driveway drainage pipes...

I don't care that you chose a crappy guy to do the job...

Thanks for answering my question...

Mine's got kind of a built-in ramp, they poured it that way. I suppose if yours has a lip, you could measure the depth of the door, and space a ramp about that far back. The 1-2" of gap isnt enough to notice with a car.

P.S. take it easy, not every response is precisely on topic. Some guys like to tell stories, hell I do too sometimes .

Sheesh, calm down. Sorry I wasn't more to the point. Yes, my little ramps make it easier to drive into the garage, but it was no big deal before, my car goes up hills and over potholes, too.

You sure your username isn't supposed to be KCPr_i_ck 11? That's the rudest response I've ever seen on any message board, considering the Setec was trying to be helpful.

You know what dude, no. You've got 1400 posts on this forum, and you're always pleasant, you should be treated with if not respect, then at least politeness.
