What is a good Spray paint over baked white enamel?

I have decided to paint my washer and dryer a racing red or blue, okay maybe I have too much time. Would it be as easy as cleaning the surface and spray or light sanding? I have no clue.

Baked enamel is awfully inert so I doubt you'll have any problems with compatibility, but I would think adhesion is a big concern.

You'll probably have to scuff it up really good (scotchbrite and/or sandpaper) and maybe use some kind of adhesion coating prior to a primer/sealer.
