New Garage toys

Well, I started this project about 4 months ago, and the last month have added things such as fire alarm, extinguisher, and lastly, my new Car port mats came today to complete my garage spending spree (To glee with my wife).

Each stall is 21 ft. by 10 ft., 2 stalls have indoor/outdoor carpeting and the 3rd stall standard grey floor paint (Lawn tractor likes to drip).

Click the Photo point album and then click each picture to read the caption explaining each photo for further info.

Looking good, Ripsnort!

Had a question for you - re: the heater. I put up a post awhile back, looking for a heating solution for my garage. Winter gets pretty harsh here in NYC, so I figured adding a space heater for my 16x10' garage might help out.

Is the one you have here electric? If so - what did it run you? Your garage looks to be quite a bit bigger than mine, so I think an hour's worth of heating on a 30 degree day should get me to a respectable 50 degrees.

Thanks,
-J

Thks guys!
John, I picked it up at Home Depot for I *think* $20.00 ..its electric, so I only turn it on for about 1 hour prior to spending significant time in the garage. With 30 deg or less in the East, I would be tempted to pick up two to do the job.
Cya!

Great Garage and watch them electric heaters. Do not leave them plugged in potential fire hazard.

Actually, I have the heater plugged into an outlet that turns off the heater with the lights when I shut off the garage lights.

Very good safety suggestion!
