Question Costco Garage Flooring?

Does anyone know about the MotoFloor tiles offered by Costco?

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...Path=114*1618*

It looks like RaceDeck and is $130/box of 48 tiles ($2.71/tile) including UPS ground shipping.

Guessing from the size of the tire in the pic, each tile looks like its 1 ft by 1 ft by my guess, so probably bout 50 sq ft. Just guessing, never actually seen the stuff, just making an educated guess based on the tire size (but then again it could be a wheelbarrow tire for all I know)

Edit: just read the link, says theyre 1' by 1', so theres your answer

They are 1 ft by 1 ft. One box would cover 48 ft2

Question

Wouldn't all the dirt etc. in the garage go between the grooves make a huge mess that would require tile removal to clean up?

How do you mop up the dirt that gets under that type of tile? Would you have to take it up to clean under it?

That seems soo expensive, I installed solid oak hardwood floors from the Lumber Liquidators for $3.25 a square foot. That stuff sure looks nice. I just could not justify $1908 to do my garage floor

Re: Costco Garage Flooring?

The sale on the costco one ends tonite.

This one from Sam's Club is cheaper even compared to the costco sale price.
Anyone know how the quality compares?
Sam's Club - Modular Garage Floor Tile - 40 sq. ft.

I installed it about 2 years ago. I went with the black and white and am really pleased. The bottom of the tiles have a cross pattern that provides some air space between the tile and the floor ( it does not lay flat on the concrete). It cleans easily with water and a mop, resists oil and liquid spills. The interesting thing about these tiles is that they are made by the same Company that makes the Race Deck tiles. The Company is Snap Lock Industries loacted in Salt Lake Utah.
The reason that I know is that I needed additional edging material and called the Company, they sent me Race Deck edging but did replace it with the Moto Floor edging. The only complaint that I have is that the white tiles will stain from the rubber from the tires. All in all a good product.
