Lighting

Planning on replacing regular lighting fixtures , for something with considerable more watts than standard recessed high hats, any suggestions, for best lighting as well as good looking

I would take a close look at metal halide before you finalize your decisions. Griot's Garage has a consumerized version. They're not real attractive but they offer unparalleled output.

i have a hps light...mimics mid summer sun....its so bright dude i need sun glasses!..you can buy metal halid or hps at lowes..and cut a thick extension cord and wire it for indoors...might as well start some killer weed seeds...lmao j/k

Use the search function. Right here in the Garage forum.

Use several types of light, and be sure to have some mobility of the lighting, particularly the Halogens.

Check my gallery for a mobile, lighted cart...
