HELP. SOMETHINGS WROnG

Sorry about the caps. Ok. My Truck is acting funny. Whenever i shift into a higher gear. and Add more pressure to the accelorator. It starts to jerk, it almost feels like it is slipping. Maybe the gas is not being fed, like it is clogged. It is only when i press the gas down more than half way to the floor.

And also. i changed my oil 3 days ago. While i was working down their i cleaned my skid plate. Which acts like an oil pan when it is on, since it is right under the engine. Well. Today, my oil was reading as low. as in. below reading. Now, i put in 5 quarts on Friday. Soo.. The oil is going someplace. And it isnt leaking. I keep it clean, so i would notice a leak. :-/ Tommarrow my uncle is comming over and he will help me trouble shoot. God i hope it is something small. I cant afford to replace the transmission if it is slipping... Any ideas what could be wrong?

Had a similiar problem on a Mitsubishi some time back,
thought the gearbox was slipping, but ended up being the High Voltage leads (or similiar)... Apparently one was damaged and sparking, causing misfires all over the place, made it really jumpy, then when you would put your foot down it basically died...

Chris.

but one more thing. I dont think those problems would account for the oil guzzling. Without a leak in common sight.
