Emergancy equipment
Out of interest, what kind of stuff do you guys have for an emergency, ie First Aid box, or neutralising chemicals?

a 9mm Glock
Actually, I only have a couple of cheap cotton towels and paper napkins. I should probably be more prepared, but whatever I would have would need to be compact (fit in the spare tire area?).

I keep a flashlight, portable battery jumper, a small air compressor (for tires), some gloves and a small tool kit in the trunk. Also always have the cell with me. Plus I carry an "emergency" detailing kit as well.
In the garage I have a first aid kit and of couse a "ABC" rated fire extinguisher. Hmmm, a mini fire extinguisher for the trunk sounds like a good idea.

Flashlight
Cell Phone
Small Tool Kit
Emergency Detail Kit:
small bottle of QD
small pack of MFs & cotton towels
small bottle of window cleaner
small car vac that plugs into cigarette lighter
All these (except cell & light) are kept in a navy blue Land's End diaper bag that no longer was needed, but too nice to throw away. Makes a great car kit!!
Baggie of baby wipes & one of cut-up Swiffer's plus a little mini-first aid kit (with flare, band-aids, etc) in the glove box
I really need some jumper cables!

As far as first aid goes, I have mt standard issue Mercedes Benz first-aid kit with a few added "extras" . I have a portable detailing kit containg Z2, Z5, Z6, Z7, washmitt, applicator, and 2 mf towels. I have a flashlight and thats about it.
I Have My Built In mercedes timeport cell which is on a bosster so it gets really good reception. A second portable cellphone, and Tele-Aid (mercedes equivalent of onstar). In dash navigation in case i get lost. As far as electronics, im well equipped and connected.

For the moment, I have a 4 way lug wrench. I do plan to put a small fire extinguisher in the rear as well as a first aid kit and a floor jack.

Sorry, I meant to ask, what do you keep in your garage. However, you have all given me food for thought.

Garage? Umm, a garden hose? Good for acid and base spills given enough volume.
