Bit The Bullet - Bought Seville Classic Garage Cabinets!

OK..............the product "reviews" for Seville Classic garage cabinets were ~unanimously positive!! Lots of thumbs-up feedback on various forums, on the Sam's Club site and at Seville.

So, I bit the bullet........and ended up with 6 pieces total. I guess I have to order their wall cabinets separately from Sam's on-line. Turned out to be less than $200 per piece, including a new Sam's Club membership and sales tax.

Two tall vertical cabinets, a workbench, 2 small under-bench cabinets & a rolling workbench w/a couple of drawers plus peg board wall attached to it.

Looks like a lot of assembly to do.......and then the dreaded garage clean-up & reorganization to put away all the stuff the cabinets are for in the first place!!

More pictures then..........................

See ya.

Will Look Like These:

Rolling Under-bench Cabinet, Rolling Workbench, Vertical Cabinet

Re: Bit The Bullet - Bought Seville Classic Garage Cabinets!

I bought the vertical cabinet a few months ago. If I remember right, it took me about 3 hours to put it together - lots of screws. It's nice to be able to roll it out of the way when I need to clean the garage.

Yea, the manhole cover leads to the center of the earth....... Just a drain in the garage, a nice option to go along with the three car unit. I was lucky, in this neighborhood, there were very few lots that could accommodate a three car garage. I have the only one in the development!

In total, for the six pieces I purchased (two 6ft.cabinets, two rolling short cabinets, a 6ft. workbench and the 4ft. rolling workbench w/peg board back) I spent ~$1180 at Sam's Club (that included the $40 fee for new membership........not likely I will be doing much shopping there.......BJ's is a couple of miles away, Sam's is more like 14mi. away......but, BJ's doesn't have Seville Classic cabinets. Oh, well......... Less than $200/unit.

Of course, as the other posters have commented, it takes a while to assemble them. If the tall cabinet takes 2.5hrs.+, then the short rolling cabinet with all those drawers must take a longgggg time to do. One way to keep the cost down & reduce the packaging size.

See ya.

Good deal man!

Oh, I'd also suggest maybe putting some burlap over the manhole and put the cover on. That way water gets through but if you drop a nut or bolt down there.
