Pats Garage Makeover

About 6 months ago I moved into a new house. One of the requirements was a 3 car garage to keep all of my cars and detailing materials in. I wanted something that would allow me to detail cars on the side with plenty of room, proper lighting and no worries of things falling on the cars. My old home only had a one car garage so I was tired of having my cars outside and stored at other peoples garages. The garage in this home needed some work but over time I was able to turn it into something nice.

Here is what I did over the last 6 months:

Patched all walls and painted all walls bright white
Painted all trim “Fabulous Red”
Installed electric outlets in the ceiling over each garage bay
Installed 40 T8 lights in the ceiling over each garage bay
Installed 4 banks of T12 lights down the sides of the side bays
Hooked up hose in garage area
Organized all of my detailing supplies in purchased cabinets etc.
Outfitted with XM Radio, Wireless Internet, and TV

The last thing I have to do is decide on the floor. It will eventually be sealed with a flake type coating.

Pat,
Gorgeous! Great work!
Wish I was into detailing when I bought my house in 1999. My house had a 1-car carport when I bought it. I did turn it into a garage but you're familiar with the 1 car garage blues.

Re: Pats Garage Makeover

Wow, that looks almost too nice to work in!

I suspect it took a lot of work to get it to where it is now, good job!
