Portable Florescent Lighting
Has anyone used or using something like this?

This one uses ( 2 ) 45 watt bulbs that is supposed to equal 400 watts.

Not cheap. 166.00 shipped with a 5 year warranty. That price is from where I seen the pic posted. I know Menard's had something similar or the same one and can't remember what the price was. I'm going to go today and take a look and will let you know what I find.

$166 certainly isn't cheap, but the build quality (from the pics) looks pretty good, I'm really interested to hear what you come back with Ruttrow.
Plus they're safe to use around water, which is a huge bonus, have a 10,000 hour bulb life and a 5 year warranty.
Biggest benefit IMO is NO HEAT!! Halogens are ok...but the heat they produce in the garage in the middle of summer is just too much.

You may want to check out the Defender Florescent light. I got mine from Top of the Line, but it looks like they do not sell it anymore. It is a nice light though.

For those interested it is on sale @ Menard's thru 12-30 for 89.99. Regular price is 119.99. I bought it seems like a nice light. It is the same one that was in my earlier post.

So how do you like it?? Any heat?? What's the light like?? Is it as bright as two 500watt halogens??
