I'm in waiting for it to arrive !!! I have rotary,PC,and a UDM I use the rotary on heavy stuff but always finish with the PC/UDM. I was using the UDM for the cars that weren't that bad except for spots that have heavy defects then I do those areas with the rotary.With the Flex I should be able to most cars with one machine. I will still have the PC for carpet duty and the UDM setup for spot work or I could give one to my brother for his cars. FLEX = XMAS present for myself (new toy to play with)

Mine was just shipped out today from Detailed Image! Can't wait to try it out and compare vs my pc.
Hopefully Edge will come out with an adapter soon!

i was curious... on the video from DI, what speed was used on the flex? was it cranked up all the way to 6?

As soon as the Edge adapter comes out, I'll buy a Flex.
I don't want to go out and buy a bunch of new pads for this, I have about 20 Edge pads.

I'm wondering if the edge pads are going have a problem with the Flex since the Flex has more power and the longer throw.Being as that the edge system has a problem with a PC using them at speed 6 ?

I use the 6" Edge 2000 on a Makita rotary with no issues.
