Sprinkler water marks

My girl has a white 05 accord and the entire right side of her car feels like sandpaper. I tried using one of those cheapo 10 inch polishers with scratch out and it did nothing. I used clay and it helped a little, but the rest is just eaten through the clear coat. I was going to purchase a Porter Cable and was wondering if any polish could do the job without being overly aggressive. The only product I saw at pep boys was meguiar's #11 and scratch out.

Re: Sprinkler water marks

Hard water deposits and the associated clear coat etchings are *really* tough customers. Save yourself a lot of heartache... find a reputable professional detailer in your area and have them fix it. You'll be money ahead in the long run unless you already have the machinery, pads, and know-how to tackle it.
