I think its a great idea. Being that I actually HAVE that rental Metabo!

$20 a week really is worth it when you're considering a $300 Metabo, $200 Makita, and $160 DeWalt, as well as giving Toshiba a look. $40-$60 to try out a few and get exactly what you want is great. Not to mention, if you can do 80-90% of your jobs with a pc, then rent it for a job that requires a rotary, beats buying one just for 1 job.
Problem is that I don't want to give it back
